Whether you’re celebrating Dad or the Fourth of July, nothing beats a cookout. Here you’ll char garlic herb butter and hot honey-brushed chicken breasts and top them with gouda, whip up BBQ pulled pork, and grill beef patties to perfection and top them with cheddar, then stuff them all between toasted brioche buns. We highly recommend grilling for the ultimate summer experience and flavor, but cooking on the stove top will do, too.

Halve buns. Place half the garlic herb butter in a small microwave-safe bowl; microwave until melted, 30 seconds. Stir in half the hot honey.
Tear or roughly chop pork into smaller pieces. Pat chicken dry with paper towels; season all over with salt and pepper. Form beef into four equal-size patties, each slightly wider than a bun; season generously with salt and pepper.
Heat a drizzle of oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add pork, BBQ sauce, and ¾ cup water. Cook, stirring occasionally, until reduced and thickened, 4-6 minutes. Taste and season with salt and pepper. Keep covered until ready to serve.
GRILL: Heat a well-oiled grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Add beef patties and chicken; cook patties to desired doneness and chicken until cooked through (we suggest 3-5 minutes per side for both, but grills can vary). In the last 2 minutes of cooking, brush chicken with honey garlic butter and top with gouda; top patties with cheddar. Cover and cook until cheese melts. Add buns; toast until golden.
STOVETOP: Toast buns. Heat a drizzle of oil in a second large pan over medium-high heat. Add beef patties and chicken; cook patties to desired doneness, 3-5 minutes per side, and chicken until cooked through, 3-5 minutes per side. In the last 2 minutes of cooking, brush chicken with honey garlic butter and top with gouda; top patties with cheddar. Cover and cook until cheese melts.
Spread cut sides of two buns with remaining garlic herb butter and fill with chicken; drizzle with remaining hot honey to taste. Fill two buns with beef patties. Fill remaining buns with BBQ pork.
