These mozzarella-stuffed meatballs are the perfect protein-packed snack for kids! They’re also pretty darn good for grown-ups too. Just roast ’em, dip ’em in marinara, and pop ’em in your mouth. You can even add them to your favorite pasta dish or double the recipe and serve them as an app (additional ingredients not included!).

Adjust rack to top position and preheat oven to 425 degrees. In a medium bowl, gently combine sausage, panko, and cheese. Form into 10-12 1-inch meatballs. Place meatballs on a lightly oiled baking sheet. Roast on top rack until browned and cooked though, 12-14 minutes. Serve with marinara on the side for dipping.

Recipe Suggestion: Want to make mini meatballs? Use a tablespoon measure to form them, then roast for 8-10 minutes.
