We know our customers are busy, so you do not need to be home to receive your box. Our custom delivery boxes are designed to keep your ingredients fresh for 24 hours or longer after delivery.

Yes, you can adjust the date and location of every delivery, and as a reminder, you do not need to be home to receive your box.

You can change the delivery location for every order, and you don't have to be home to receive it. However, please remember that the delivery date cannot be altered once the order is placed. If you need to modify the delivery date, please contact our Customer Care team at <a href="/contact-us" style="color: #067A46" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">https://www.hellofresh.com/contact-us</a>. They can help you cancel your original order, allowing you to place a new one with the desired delivery date.

Your plan is weekly, but you can easily skip a week, pause, or cancel your account at any time. Just make sure you do so before your weekly cutoff to stop your next order.

Redeem a gift card

Nope! When you go through the checkout process, you will be asked to pick a delivery date that is convenient for you. You’ll be able to change it under My deliveries up to a certain cut-off date.

When will the person I am sending a gift card to receive it?

Nope! The gift card recipient does not have to have a HelloFresh subscription in order to redeem. If you are purchasing a gift card, we only ask you to log in or create an account so we can send you an order confirmation, but this will not result in a subscription. 

Do I have to have a HelloFresh subscription to purchase or redeem a gift card?

We don’t yet support buying multiple cards on the same order but you can go through the purchasing process several times without having to create a new account.

Can I purchase more than one gift card?

Will I receive an email confirmation for my gift card purchase(s)?

Can I buy a gift for someone who lives in a different country?

All of them! As long as the value is covered by your gift card you will not be charged. If you select recipes that exceed the value of your gift, you will be charged the difference. The value of each recipe is indicated on the Meal Selection page.

Which recipes can I choose from if I have a gift card?

If you have credit left on your account, it will automatically apply to your next delivery(ies) when you start a weekly subscription. Don’t worry, you can stop the subscription at any time! Go to Our Plans, select plan preferences, and complete checkout. The credit left from your gift will automatically be applied.

Gift card purchases are one-off transactions. Redeeming a gift card will not mean that the recipient will be charged on a weekly basis, and no further charges will apply unless they choose to make additional purchases or actively reactivate a subscription with us.

Gift recipients will only be charged if their order exceeds the gift card amount or if they add certain products to their order that are not eligible for purchase using a HelloFresh gift card, including premium meals, add-ons, and quick lunch options. A purchase of these items will be charged to the payment method provided by the gift recipient. 

Recipients can use your gift towards any meal plan and recipes of their choice.

Which recipes can I choose from?

I redeemed a gift card and have credit left on my account, now what?

Do I have to receive my box immediately after I redeem my gift?

After checkout, you will have access to the entire menu of 30+ weekly recipes. Want to mix and match? No problem, you can always pick and choose your recipes regardless of preference.

We can help with that. Low carb? Vegetarian? Under 650 calories? We have options for everyone, and you can easily preview next week’s menu.

Absolutely! We know life is full of surprises. If you need more or fewer meals, or want to see different options from week to week, simply update your meal quantity and menu preferences in your account settings.

Each recipe we offer includes FDA nutrition information. You can view nutrition information and ingredients for each recipe in the “My Menu” section after you’ve checked out.

Never. You can easily skip a week, pause, or cancel your account at any time in your account settings. Just make sure you do so before your weekly cutoff to stop your next order.
